Sean Kennedy

Sean Kennedy blends indie pop, bedroom pop, and singer-songwriter intimacy into deeply personal songs that capture the complexities of life. Rooted in confessional songwriting and warm arrangements, his sound is gradually moving beyond acoustic foundations, pairing nostalgic melodies with expressive synth arrangements, polished production, and emotionally direct vocals.

With a thoughtful approach to storytelling, Sean turns personal experiences into memorable melodies. His songs move between tender reflection and bright pop, fitting naturally into bedroom pop playlists, late-night indie pop, and emotional pop soundtracks. His sound sits alongside artists like Conan Gray, ROLE MODEL, Maude Latour, Orla Gartland, BETWEEN FRIENDS, and vaultboy.

Based in New York, Sean has been writing songs since the age of nine, teaching himself guitar and piano along the way. His music explores love, loss, friendship, family, and growing up. After releasing several independent albums throughout high school and college, he signed with Rexius Records in 2023. He released several singles with the label before his 2025 label debut, The Person in the Mirror.

With over four million streams across platforms, Sean continues to turn personal experiences into songs listeners can see themselves in.
